After graduating from the University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in Speech Communications, I attended the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University as a recipient of both the Presidential Scholarship and the Judge William Jeff Haralson Memorial Scholarship.
Before graduating near the top of my class with a Juris Doctorate degree, I was selected as an Associate Editor of the Cumberland Law Review publication and served as a Curuther's Legal Writing Teaching Fellow.
The primary focus areas of my practice are criminal defense and personal injury. I am experienced handling cases involving traffic, alcohol, drug, assault and theft issues as well as all other aspects of criminal law. I am a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association, the North Carolina State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
